Description

AEGIS: A Compute-Verified Forensic Truth Engine for Real-World Events

Google Docs Link to access Submission DeckAs this is a submission for SOFT HACK — IDEATHON TRACK, all deliverables have been added to this Google Doc.

Core Value Proposition: Building the future where computation determines truth, not trust.

Aegis is a forensic truth engine designed to solve the weak definition of "truth" in parametric insurance and Real-World Asset (RWA) contracts. It converts authenticated real-world evidence into cryptographically verifiable facts by running deterministic computation over immutable data.

Key Features:

  • Computation-Based Verification: Aegis produces facts through a verifiable, deterministic computation pipeline, replacing traditional, trust-based oracle attestations.
  • Immutable Evidence: Raw evidence is authenticated using C2PA content credentials and frozen immutably on Arweave permanent storage, closing the "Photoshop attack" and ensuring data permanence.
  • Consensus Verification: Verification tasks are distributed to miners on the Amadeus blockchain using Useful Proof of Work (uPoW), which repurposes mining computation for productive AI workloads (e.g., fire detection models). Consensus is reached on the output of computation, not opinion.
  • Automatic Settlement: The compute-verified result triggers an automatic settlement by a smart contract, eliminating disputes and human intervention.

Aegis is designed to provide instant, global, and dispute-free parametric insurance, starting with the use case of Wildfire Insurance.
