The Bitcoin Meets Solidity Hackathon brings together innovative developers, blockchain enthusiasts, and entrepreneurs to explore and build on the Rootstock network. Rootstock (RSK) is the first open-source smart contract platform secured by the Bitcoin network, allowing developers to create Solidity-based decentralized applications (dApps) while leveraging Bitcoin's robust security. This hackathon is a unique opportunity to innovate in bitcoin builders’ ecosystem and contribute to the evolving blockchain landscape.

Our goal is to foster creativity, collaboration, and technical expertise within the Rootstock ecosystem. Participants will have the chance to create new decentralized applications, develop infrastructure solutions, and explore cross-chain interoperability. By bridging the worlds of Bitcoin and Solidity, we're looking to encourage groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of what's possible on the Bitcoin blockchain.

📭 Deliverables
- Smart contract deployed in Rootstock and at least 2 on-chain (testnet) successful transactions.
- Projects must have a description and a GitHub repository with a descriptive README.
- You must create a pitch video for your submission explaining and demoing your project and all the key features. Please upload this pitch video and make it accessible on a platform such as YouTube, or Google Drive.
- Submit your projects by completing the submission form
